The Creative advocacy toolkit is a step-by-step guide designed to help local peacebuilding organizations, artists, and community groups use art as a tool for social change. It draws on AOF’s field experience of working with refugee women, artists, and grassroots organizations — offering a blend of storytelling, visual art, and community mobilization strategies to inspire inclusive, sustainable peacebuilding. 

The toolkit is made to help communities use art to raise awareness about social issues, create safe and expressive spaces for marginalized communities, develop advocacy campaigns based in the desired local culture and make creative activism sustainable through collective care and skill transfer.
